Made-to-measure timber pergolas
Madercon fabricates and assembles made-to-measure timber pergolas in Málaga, the Costa del Sol and Spain: workshop structure, calculated hardware and covering that keeps timber under cover in rain or irrigation.
We size the pergola to the real span of the terrace, garden or annex. It leaves the workshop with section, joints and anchors settled, and is assembled on site on a short programme.
Glulam or treated solid timber, fixed or adjustable louvres, glass, panel or light roof. If it closes volume, we coordinate junctions, drainage and, when needed, licence documents.

Workshop craft, not DIY
A well-made timber pergola is a small structure: wind, water and use. Design, cutting and hardware are settled before the terrace.
- Structure. Glulam or treated solid timber, sections by span and wind. Workshop joints.
- Anchor. Plates to slab, footings or façade. Water does not enter at the post foot.
- Covering. Louvres, glass, panel or light roof. If it rains, load-bearing timber stays under the covering.
- Finish. Lasur or open-pore by sun exposure. Maintenance planned, not ‘forever untouched’.

Which timber pergola fits a Málaga terrace?
It is sized to span, wind and use. We do not start from a kit: we measure, fabricate in the workshop and anchor to slab, footings or façade.
Is pergola timber left in the rain?
With covering, the structure stays under cover. On open pergolas we protect ends, post feet and finish; water must not enter the beam.
Is a licence needed for a pergola?
It depends on the municipality and whether it closes volume. We prepare technical documents for the licence or responsible declaration that applies.
How long does assembly take?
Site assembly is short because the piece leaves the workshop. Total time is covering and the state of existing anchors.
